Founder and Chairman
Solaiman A. Elkhereiji graduated from Oklahoma State University, USA. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Diploma in Computer Applications for Design. He has completed his Project Management from Stanford University in California, USA, and Construction Management from Harvard University in Massachusetts, USA.
He has been a former Member of the Majlis Al Shoura (the Consultative Committee Member of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Chairman of the Board of Amen Engineering and Former Vice President for PMI in the region and Chairman of UBA Bank. He has been an active member at American Institute of Architects (AIA), New York (USA), Architects Association London (UK), founding member of Saudi Council of Engineers and Architects, Associate member of Engineering Association of Egypt.
He founded SAK Consultants in 1978, an Architectural and Engineering Consultancy firm in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and he has been an active Chairman ever since. His background in planning and architectural design is extensive, covering wide range of experience with over Forty years in the Property Development and Construction Industry. His involvement in the industry has contributed to the design, management and supervision of some of the most sophisticated projects in various sectors including healthcare, educational, hospitality, Institutional, Residential, Industrial, leisure, transportation and infrastructure projects.
He has also given various lectures in Local & International Universities including King Fahd University for Petroleum & Minerals in Dahran, King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, Taiba University in Madinah, Umm Ul Qura University in Makkah, Dar Al Hikmah University in Jeddah, British Muslim Heritage Centre (UK), Cambridge University (UK), Architecture Polytechnic University of Milan (Italy) and Qadi Ayyad University (Morocco), London School of Economy (UK).
Arch. Abdullah S. Elkhereiji

Chief Executive Officer
Abdullah S. Elkhereiji graduated from California State University Long Beach, USA, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture as well as in Construction Engineering Management. He has completed his MBA from Paperdine University in California, USA, majoring in Global Business Management. He is a Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). American Institute Contractor (AIC), Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) and Member of the International Student’s Association of USA (ISA).
He joined the Elkhereiji Group soon after graduating as a Site Manager and later as a Procurement Manager. In 2008, he became the Board Member of Elkhereiji Group of Companies and in 2011 he became the CEO of SAK Group of Companies.
His aim is to foster good internal working relationships and encourage staff to realize their own individual and collective potential. He is primarily responsible for ensuring all projects to run smoothly, guiding the team in the delivery of schemes that exceeds client’s aspirations.
His main areas of expertise are Business Intelligence, Client Relationship Management, assessing Sustainable growth opportunities, Financial forecasting and Budgeting. He is highly recognized for delivering the very highest quality of work to clients, producing world class intellectual strategies and solutions for the SAK Group of companies. He is open-minded and thoughtful with a deft nature. Ensuring strategic delivery of projects from inception to completion; whilst developing the practice’s approach to project delivery through innovative and sustainable design solutions.
Abdulrahman graduated from Bentley University in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He holds a bachelor degree in Corporate finance & accounting. He started his career at PwC in the assurance services where he gained the multinational corporate experience and exposure to many clients in various industries from manufacturing, retail, oil & Gas, education, and healthcare.
Abdulrahman has over 10 years’ experience in the field of Accounting and Finance. As a Finance Director, he oversees the budgeting and re-forecast process as well as quarterly and annual management reports. He is a Member of the Institute of Management Accountants and a Board Member at Elkhereiji Commerce & Contracting Company.
Omer graduated in Civil Engineering from Faculty of Engineering & Architecture University of Khartoum, Sudan. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He has also completed training courses & seminars in Claims, Counterclaims, FIDIC Contracts & Arbitration in Kuala Lumpur and Project Negotiation, Leadership, Team Building & Contracting in Cairo and Contract Preparation, Tendering & Award in Dubai.
He started his career as a Site Engineer and walked his way up to Projects Director. He has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry. As a Projects Director, he oversees the smooth flow of projects for design and supervision. He has thorough technical knowledge of the construction process, the design and supervision procedures. He has successfully delivered numerous mega projects and large scale industrial projects.
Arch. Mohammed Kola

Business Development Director
Mohammed graduated from School of Architecture MIT, India and is a Registered Architect with Council of Architecture, India. He has a Post-graduation in Construction Project Management from University of Lincoln, United Kingdom. He also has an MBA specializing in International Business from MGU University, India.
He started his career working as an Architect and was part of the Business Development team for four Real Estate Development Companies in Bangalore, India. He has about 18 years of International experience from India, UK and KSA. He has worked on numerous projects as a Senior Project Architect and a Business Development consultant for Architecture and Engineering consultancy firms around the world. Majority of his project experience comes from the Residential, Retail, Health care, Hospitality, Sports-Leisure, Tourism, Commercial, Community, Education and Industrial sectors.
Having worked his way up through the ranks of Architect, Project Architect, Associate and Director, where for the last 18 years he was jointly responsible for many practice’s strategic directions. He has a well-rounded Architecture and Business Development consultancy experience and operates comfortably at all organization levels. He believes in working closely with his team members to develop sustainable design and innovative ideas collectively and to incorporate in the welfare of the community and his organization.
Mohammed graduated from Columbia College and Fairleigh Dickson University Vancouver, Canada. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Individualized Studies and Master’s Degree in Human Resource. During his stay in Canada for 9 years, he attained a rich academic experience from various institutions that he attended. Started first with Concordia University, and later moved to Vancouver to get his University Transfer program at Vancouver Community College, then Columbia College and eventually Fairleigh Dickson University. These Institutions uphold different teaching methods and curricula through which Mohammed is now assured that he has the best of all.
Moving up from the academic to job career, Mohammed was inspired tremendously by his father’s successful business model and management style. For years, he gained experience by observing, discussing, and attending meetings with his father who acted as his mentor. Prior to permanently joining SAK as the HR Director, he also insisted to enrol in on-job training programs like the Islamic Development Bank (IDB).
During his one-year training, Mohammed sought to bring all the learnt Human Resource theories into reality. Consequently, he planned with the training providers and had the opportunity to go over the Human Resource Cycle. Throughout the training experience, Mohammed did not only fill a position of HR Analyst, but also was exposed to several HR key functions, for example, Recruitment, Learning & Development and HR Operations (OPs). With his current position at SAK as a HR Director, he is eager to develop the HR Department by implementing the theories and best practices of this field as practically as possible.
Faisal graduated from Architecture Engineering KAAU, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He has an MPhil Degree in Facilities Management from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, United Kingdom. He also has a PhD in Construction & Property Management specializing in Facilities Management from Salford University, Manchester, United Kingdom. He completed his courses in management & Environmental fields.
He started his career working as an Architect then as Project Manager and was part of the Business Development team for General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia. He was also a Consultant for Some Engineering Firms & Real Estate Development Companies in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He was also a Projects Director for Operations & Maintenance Projects (City MSW and City Operations & Maintenance Projects).
He has about Fourteen Years of Experience in Architectural and Project management and more than Thirteen Years of Experience in the Operations & Maintenance in the Facilities Management Industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At SAK he is responsible for strategies of Operations & Maintenance during the design, construction and operation phases.
Arch. Ian Fewer

Master Planning Director
Ian graduated in Architecture from UPC Barcelona University, Spain and Dundee University, UK. He is a member of the Royal institute of the architects of Ireland. With 17 years’ experience in Architecture & Urban Design and has worked in UK, Ireland, Poland and Spain. Ian is a director of Waterford Chamber of Commerce of Ireland since 2008 and is on the Economic and planning committee for Waterford City. He is also the Chairman of the Waterford Festival of Architecture and is on the Finance Committee for the Waterford tall ships Festival 2011.
Ian worked with Hamilton & Associates in London where he gained experience on large scale Master planning, residential and commercial projects. He has gained valuable expertise and knowledge in large retail, healthcare and mixed-use developments and specializes in master planning and urban design. Ian is passionate about design and the built environment and his position gives him the responsibility for design and innovation at SAK.
Arch. Ashraf M. Yunus

Chief Operating Officer
Ashraf graduated from School of Architecture & Planning, Anna University, India and has a Master’s degree in Construction Project Management from London South Bank University, UK. He brings with him an intense Architectural and Multidisciplinary design management experience occupying key technical and managerial positions in international companies based in UAE, UK & KSA.
His key initiative is primarily to ensure that the design is developed to meet client’s aspirations with high quality standards based on industry best practice. An important part of his job requires him to be creatively pragmatic and provide leadership through an in-depth understanding of the design delivery process, coupled with a holistic operations & project management approach, providing a bridging role between the design and delivery of the project by leading the design team from initial concept all the way to practical completion stage. His method of clear and responsive line of communication between client, consultants and the contractors has led him to maintain a successful track record of delivering complex projects.
As a practicing Registered Architect, he is very much hands-on with the technical standards & Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools. This is one of his key strengths which gives him the ability to understand the design & delivery issues and thereby managing the team & process effectively. Part of his role also includes mentoring and training Architects & Project Managers on innovative design development, process mapping, project planning and risk management. Being a LEED Accredited Professional, he strongly believes that aesthetics & efficiency in design is achieved through sustainable solutions that are incorporated inherently within the development of a project.
Mohammed graduated in Architecture from King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah. He is a member of Saudi Council of Engineers, KSA. He has completed various courses in building management and project management.
He started his career as an Architect and walked his way up as a Technical Manager. He has around 15 years of extensive technical experience in design consultation services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has worked on numerous residential, retail, hospitality, community and commercial projects.
Mohammed graduated from Aden University in Yemen. He holds a Bachelor degree in Science and has completed his Post Graduation in Commerce (Majoring in Accounts). He has completed several courses in accounting and finance management and attends Continuing Professional Development programs on a regular basis.
Having worked his way up since he joined SAK in 1978, through the ranks of Accounts Assistant, Accountant, Senior Accountant to Finance Manager, he brings with him more than 40 years of Accounts and Finance experience. He oversees all areas of finance including: payroll, accounts payable and receivables, job costing, cash management, general ledger, inventory, banking and reconciliations. He provides strategic analyses for senior management to determine project and company profitability, prepare quarterly financial statements and special reports required by lenders, develop company policies and procedures.
Having the ability to provide support for multiple concurrent priorities, he is able to establish, maintain and develop effective working relationships with service users, operational teams, delivery partners and colleagues. He is comfortable with and able to effectively cope with change, he has a long track record of making best use of any available resources and techniques.
Engr. Konstantinos Kostoglou

Infrastructure Director
Konstantinos graduated from Aristotle University of Greece and got his PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from University of Newcastle in UK. He has 35 years’ experience in projects management, design and implementation (design, tendering, supervision, construction) of minor and major projects. He started his carrier in Greece and continued working in numerous national and international, governmental and private projects. He has essential experience in designing, supervising, directing, budgeting, tendering documents preparation (specifications, BOQs, quantities take offs, cost estimates, contractual agreement etc.), negotiating, constructing and managing of all project activities for a variety of projects.
He has substantial experience working in national and international, governmental and private projects of diversified nature as infrastructure networks, land planning and development, sewage treatment, electrical substations, accommodation buildings and villas, high-rise and administrative buildings, hospitals, precast structures, steel structures, maritime structures, oil pipelines and pumping stations. He has very good experience on international procedures concerning bidding, and execution of projects. He served as infrastructure committee member of an international organization (28-member nations) as representative of Greece for 3 years in Brussels.
Samir graduated in Business Administration and Management from KCB College and University in London, UK. He has also completed a course in Business Communication and has more than 10 years of multi-national experience in Business Start-ups and strategies.
He oversees the hurdles and challenges faced by the Practice on a daily basis and supports the smooth functioning of all department. He is highly known for delivering the good quality of work, producing strategies and solutions for his company. Ensuring strategic delivery of projects from inception to completion; maintaining client relationships whilst developing the practice to deliver through innovative solutions.
Mohammed graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is a member of Saudi Council of engineers and Saudi Society of Civil Engineering. He completed his Project Management Profession (PMP) certification with PMI.
He has 13 years of experience in the construction industry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has worked on numerous projects as a Project Manager on site. Majority of his project experience comes from the Residential, Retail, Hospitality, Commercial, Community, Health Care and Industrial sectors.
Adel graduated in Mechanical Engineering in Power Mechanics Engineering from Yarmouk University, Jordan. He has also completed training courses in Expedition Primavera, Value Engineering, Project Management and Facility Management.
He started his career as a Site Engineer in 1983. He has more than 34 years of experience in the construction industry and most of his experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a Mechanical Design Engineer. He has worked on numerous mega projects as an experienced MEP Design Engineer and as a Senior Site Project Manager who has extensive experience in Construction Supervision Management and Project Management.
Ahmed graduated in Architecture Faculty of Engineering from Mansoura University, Egypt and he has a Post-graduation in Faculty Economics from West Hungary University, Hungary. He also has a Masters in Architecture from Cairo University.
He started his career as an Architect and further developed his career as Senior Interior Designer. He has more than 14 years of experience in developing concept designs in Architecture and Interiors and taking it forward to design completion. He has extensive Architectural and Management experience in the construction industry of Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Engr. Fadl Ellathy

Project Manager (Planning & Cost Control)
Fadl graduated in Civil Engineering from Mansoura University, Egypt and has completed Masters in Construction Project Management from Edinburgh Napier University, UK. He also completed his education and course in Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) from PMI, and in Certified Cost Consultant (CCE) from AACE, and Diploma in Arbitration & Dispute in FIDIC Contracts from Assuit University, Egypt and Project Management Professional (P.M.P) from PMI, Pennsylvania, USA and Post-Graduate Diploma in Construction Management from Arab Academy for Science & Technology.
He started his career in 2004 as a Technical Office Engineer and he has 13 years of experience in the construction industry on which the last 10 Years here in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has worked on numerous projects in Designing, Contract, Cost and Risk Managements and Construction Supervision.

Faisal graduated from school of Civil Engineering UET, Pakistan and is a professional member of Pakistan Engineering Council. He has a Post-graduation in Structural Engineering from University of Manchester, UK and in Environmental Engineering & project Management from University of Leeds, UK.
Having worked his way up through the ranks of Structural Engineer, Project Engineer, Senior Project Coordinator to Project Manager, he brings with him more than 16 years of intense Civil, Structural, Multidisciplinary Design & Project Management experience. Having the ability to provide support for multiple concurrent priorities, he is able to establish, maintain and develop effective working relationships with service users, operational teams, delivery partners and colleagues. He is comfortable with and able to effectively cope with change, he has a long track record of making best use of any available resources and techniques.
Proficient at construction project management including planning, designing, processing, managing staff, supervising sub-contractors, budgeting, scheduling, and timely completion of projects. He has strong communications skills coupled with the innate ability to lead through adversity to complete countless projects on time and within budget.
Ahmed graduated in Bachelor of Geomatics Science from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. He has attended several courses in Surveying and has received training in operating latest Total Stations. He is a member of Saudi Council of Engineers and Saudi Geological Survey.
Having worked his way up through the ranks of Assistant Surveyor, Surveyor, Senior Project Coordinator to Heading the Surveying Department, he brings with him more than 10 years of intense Management experience. Having the ability to provide support for multiple concurrent priorities, he is able to establish, maintain and develop effective working relationships with service users, operational teams, delivery partners and colleagues. His department has successfully completed the Land Surveying of numerous large and mega projects under his supervision and leadership.
Dr. Abdul Fattah Ibrahim

Head of Electrical Design Department
Abdul Ibrahim graduated from University of Khartoum in Electrical Engineering. He was awarded the M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Dundee, Scotland, U.K. and received his Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Washington International University.
He started his career with the Saudi Electricity Company where he was exposed to various levels of power systems engineering. Later he joined the Saudi Royal Air Defense Forces Engineering Directorate, where he acquired a deep knowledge of military power, control and communication systems. He is responsible for all types of building services and infrastructure electrical design activities, including industrial, commercial, residential, healthcare and educational facilities.
Angelos graduated as an Engineer from Architectural University of Napoli, Italy and is a member of Saudi Council of engineers, K.S.A. He has a Post-graduation in Building Restoration from Architectural University of Napoli, Italy.
He started his career in Urban Planning Designs for Anastasopoulos & Sons Construction Company, Athens, Greece in 1985. He has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry of Greece and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Currently he is managing the site for Renfe Haramain Madinah Railway Depot.
Shadi graduated from King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah with a Bachelor Degree in Architecture. He has also completed Advanced Project Management and Project Management Professional Courses. He is a member of Saudi Council of Engineers.
He started his career as an Design Architect and has more than 5 years of experience in the Construction Industry. He has worked on numerous mega projects as a Project Architect. He also has experience in Project Management and extensive experience in liaising with all local authorities for master planning and obtaining construction permit for Medium size projects to Mega Projects.
Hani graduated in GIS in 1996 from Alexandria University. He has completed a Master’s Degree in GIS and Remote Sensing. He attended numerous courses such as – Laser Scan (IGIS Basic, system Management), Introduction to programming Arc Object with VBA.
He started his career as a GIS Specialist and data entry at the investment department, in the year 2000 for 6 years. He has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He has good knowledge and awareness with EMAAR’s constructions guidelines, EEC’s projects permit Regulations and site inspections for under construction projects in KAEC. His key responsibilities are to develop and generate new business opportunities for the Industrial Section at SAK. Mainly supports the management by providing analysis for evaluating new business opportunities such as collaborative research and development agreements.
Mohammed graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce at Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. He has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Science and completed a course in Safety Management.
With more than 26 years of experience in the field of procurement and office management, he is a vital member in SAK for more than 22 years and has been supporting the higher management in preparing tenders as well as all administrative and technical tasks including scheduling, bid correspondence and preparation of technical proposals. He has in depth experience in managing time and trouble shooter in all his assigned tasks.
Cathal graduated from Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, Ireland as a Chartered Engineer. In 2016, Cathal won the Association of Consulting Engineers Ireland (ACEI) Emerging Professional Consulting Engineer of the Year.
Since his graduation he has been involved on a wide range of projects in both the public and private sectors throughout Ireland and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has extensive experience on the management of projects in the Transportation Sector. Cathal has worked on some of SAK’s most prestigious projects with particular experience in Healthcare projects, Residential Developments, Industrial Developments, and Educational Developments.
Abdul graduated from PDA Engineering College of Gulbarga, India. He started his career working as an Engineer in the field of structural engineering design and Site Supervision Management. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the Construction Industry of India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, out of which more than 19 years with SAK. He has worked on numerous projects as a Resident Engineer and Project Manager for several landmark projects in the Residential, Retail, Health care, Hospitality, Sports-Leisure, Tourism, Commercial, Community, Education and Industrial sectors.
Having worked his way up through the ranks of Resident Engineer to Senior Project Manager, he was responsible for many project supervisions and managements. He has a well-rounded Engineering consultancy experience and operates comfortably at all organization levels. He believes in working closely with his team members to develop sustainable design and innovative ideas collectively and to incorporate in the welfare of the community and his organization.
Mahmoud graduated from Faculty of Environmental Designs, King AbdulAziz University, Jeddah, in Landscape Architecture. He has a Post-graduation in Islamic Architecture from Umm AlQura University, Saudi Arabia. He started his career working as an Architect and was part of the Business Development team for Mega Projects Department in Jeddah Municipality.
He has about 10 Years’ Experience in Mega Project Department and was the Issuer of Construction Permits in Jeddah and Regulations Developer. He has 2 years’ Experience in Facility management of KAUST Campus. He supported the team for MRO (maintenance, repairs, and operations), and to develop sustainable design. He also has experience in Project Management and extensive experience liaising with all local authorities for master planning and obtaining construction permits. Currently he works as a Senior Landscape Architect and Local Authority Liaison Officer at SAK.
Engr. Hamza Khelil
BE (ELEC), M’Sc Mech. (FRANCE), MFEA, MSCE
Hamza graduated from the University of Cachan, Paris, with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic engineering. He has a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing engineering from ENSAM, Paris. Hamza is a chartered engineer in France and part of the French Engineering Association “Arts et Métiers”.
With a strong international background in France, UK, Australia and Saudi Arabia. Hamza has a proven track record of delivering technical expertise on time and as per budget. Always looking to adapt to new situations in any type of environment, Hamza possesses a wide range of Construction technical skills including the ability to deal with a wide range of people from all backgrounds, in a supportive and professional manner.
Hamza initially started his Engineering career in the Energy Sector for a well-known Company in Australia, and then moved to pure Construction Technical expertise. Currently he is working as the Quality Manager at SAK.
Ahsan graduated from School of Architecture, UET Lahore and is a Registered Architect with IAP and PCATP, Pakistan. He has a Doctorate degree in Sustainable Design from University of Hawaii, USA. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional of USGBC.
He has a well-rounded Architecture and Sustainable Design consultancy experience for nearly 21 years. He believes in integrated design process to develop sustainable design solutions in projects, to minimize negative impacts on the environment, reduce energy consumption, conserve potable water and improve indoor environment quality, to benefit community and his organization. He is progressing his experience in the Construction Industry as a Sustainability Specialist, Project Manager and LEED consultant. Majority of his project experience comes from large scale Residential Community, Hospitality and Industrial projects.
Engr. Azeemuddin Mohammed

Senior Mechanical Engineer
Azeemuddin graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities, India and is a member of Saudi Council of engineers, K.S.A. He has a Post-graduation in Mechanical Engineering from University of Swinburne, Melbourne, Australia. He also has a Graduate diploma in Business Administration from University of Ballarat, Melbourne, Australia.
He started his career as a Mechanical Site Engineer for company in Hyderabad, India. He has 7 Years of experience in the construction industry of India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a Mechanical Design Engineer. He has worked on numerous projects as a Mechanical Design Engineer and supervision engineer. Majority of his project experience comes from the Residential, Retail, Hospitality, Commercial, Community and Industrial sectors. He is an innovative thinker, able to apply analysis & creativity to problem solving. He is highly professional, self-motivated and diligent individual with flexibility to adapt new situations. His areas of expertise are HVAC, Plumbing and Firefighting systems.
