Abdul Latif Jameel (ALJ) Land Holding’s Vehicle Processing & Logistics Hub is on site 2B-1 in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) Industrial Valley Phase 2, located in Saudi Arabia. The plant is responsible for Vehicle Accessorization and Customization. The site will contain approximately 1,700 on-site employees and accommodate up to approximately 1,500 on-site workers and support staff.
The lot has an area of 1,499,789 m³, with an allowable plot coverage of 50% as set out by KAEC Industrial Valley: Phase 2 General Development Parameters. The building footprints cover 7% or 110,023 m³ of the site (under the 750,007 m³ maximum) with a Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of 0.079 (under the 0.50 maximum).
The maximum building height on site is 15m (or 3 floors), meeting KAEC’s guidelines. The landscaped area is 11%, surpassing the minimum 10% guideline. The remaining 82% of the site is dedicated to the vehicle fleet and operations, including circulation.
The Vehicle Processing & Logistics Hub Master Plan is focused on successfully providing all Stakeholder Operational Requirements. The Master Plan achieves operational efficiency, sustainability and design excellence, while upholding the design standards set out by KAEC.
