In 2014 FLOW was born out of the need to support IKEA enter the Multi-Channel Sales business within Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
FLOW commissioned SAK Consultant to supervise the construction work of a dedicated customer order and e-Commerce fulfilment center in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). This development form part of the implementation of FLOW strategic plan to be the market leader in Saudi Arabia for Contract Logistics and e-Commerce fulfilment services. The facility in KAEC will have 50,000 pallet positions in its 38m high bay storage facility with an additional 80,000 tote positions in phase 1 for small items goods-to man picking. The facility is designed to deliver 2,000 customer orders per day in two shifts and will be ready for operation Q2 2017.
